A volunteer visit to Robbins Reef Lighthouse NYC

A volunteer visit to Robbins Reef Lighthouse NYC
I’ve passed Robbins Reef countless times over the past 20 plus years commuting to & from Staten Island. I’ve admired her short spark plug shape & history from a passing ferry boat deck. Hanging out on the watch gallery of this old & cool AF little lighthouse  w/ friends cleaning bird poop was never ever an experience I thought I’d ever have. Being a life long New Yorker & grew up hanging in the streets & parks w/ friends breaking night.
